since a while some of us want to do "real life checks", if the Open Source VoIP Client Jitsi, wich is based mainly on the open standarts SIP and XMPP has the capability to become a real VoIP alternative.
Jitsi (previously SIP Communicator) is an audio/video and chat communicator that supports protocols such as SIP, XMPP/Jabber, AIM/ICQ, Windows Live, Yahoo!.
Jitsi is part of the "Tiki Suite" idea.
Community members, who want to participate in testing an using Jitsi as FOSS VoIP alternative, please add your username, XMPP/Japper and/or SIP address into the following tracker, for that we have at least some people to call and test this promisingtool.
