To learn what you can expect from Tiki (and what we expect from you, as a community member), please read our Social Contract.
Tiki.org is powered by Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware, so it can show new users what a Tiki site looks like and how it works, from the perspective of a registered user. Feel free to check out the various features, etc. But please, for experimenting with wiki page content and so on, use your personal user page — Userpage. The page is linked from your User Information page. You are the sole author and administrator of your user page and you can use it as a personal profile page as well as to try out wiki editing, using wiki plugins, and so on. It will be visible to the public.
Tiki is very powerful and includes more out-of-the-box features then any other application (that we're aware of). If you need help:
- The first place to look is the official Tiki documentation, especially the FAQs.
- If you're still having problems, you can post a question in the forums or ask at https://wikisuite.chat.
- There are also several mailing lists (hosted by SourceForge.net) that you can subscribe to at http://sourceforge.net/projects/tikiwiki/support.
