Centering Footer ".Box"s

I finally got the code correct to put a footer on my tiki like "Tiki's" main site - but I can't figure out the correct way to get the ".box" class centered in the footer.

Is there a css coder out there who can help?

I tried to post the code here, but I couldn't get it to show up without being parsed by the page. The source can be seen at www.ipzdb.org. Starting at the fwfooter clearview div.

This code isn't yet customized to my links, I'm getting the look correct, then I'll update links to make it useful to my tiki.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,

You can try this rule:

#footer .box-Footer+Links {margin: 0 auto;}

which makes the top and bottom margins 0 and the left and right margins auto, or equalizes them, which should center the box.

There are some rules for the contents of the footer div that push things to the left. If the above rule doesn't work as it is, try adding an " !important" (without quotes) in front of the semicolon. Due to the interaction of several rules, it's sometimes necessary to use trial and error to make an additional rule strong enough to override the existing rules.

Thank you, Gary. I appreciate the advice. I will try this, this morning and let you know how I come out.
