Looking for a way to have articles listed with bullets

I found the solution by myself. Once again, CSS is the key.

I had to accomplish two things. I had just switched my main font, and needed to have the modules not inherit the font from body or html (done in the first paragraph) then I had to make the output of the article plugin as a list element, second paragraph. This almost does what I want.

div.wikiplugin_articles {
  font-family: "Liberation Sans", "Helvetica neue", "Helvetica Neue", "Helvetica", Helvetica, "Helsinki", "Lucida Grande", Arial, sans-serif;
}

div.articletitle,
span.newsitem {
  font-family: "Liberation Sans", "Helvetica neue", "Helvetica Neue", "Helvetica", Helvetica, "Helsinki", "Lucida Grande", Arial, sans-serif;
    display: list-item;
    list-style-type: '- ';
    list-style-position: outside;
}

For the "almost" part I need some input. The bullets do appear as desired, but below each element output by the articles plugin now there is whitespace that has not been there before, when the bullets weren't there. And the whitespace is not in this CSS definition, so it could be inherited from someplace else.

Any ideas?

Thanks
